Easiest Kuih Raya: Make Honey Cornflakes With Only 3 Ingredients

Hari Raya is just around the corner, and as we start counting down the days until Raya, now is the time to put the baking skills you have acquired during MCO to good use! Just kidding…this 3-ingredient Honey Cornflakes may just be the easiest kuih Raya ever, no skills needed! Crunchy and sweet in a bite, these are definitely crowd-pleasers, so you can consider making extra batches to give away to friends and family!

This recipe yields around 50 – 60 Honey Cornflakes.

      Tools / Kitchen Appliance:

• Saucepan and spatula
• Oven
• Mixing bowl
• 50 – 60 mini cupcake cups

  Ingredients:

• 4 cups Cornflakes
• 1/2 cup honey
• 1/4 cup margarine, room temperature

Toppings, optional:

• Maraschino Cherries, chopped
• Sprinkles

          Nuts of choice, chopped

Directions:

1. Place cornflakes in a mixing bowl and set aside. Place your saucepan on SENZ electric or gas stove.
2. Melt butter in saucepan over low-medium heat. 
3. When butter starts to melt, add in honey and mix well. 
4. Remove the honey and butter mixture from the heat once little air bubbles appear, and pour it over the cornflakes. Mix well.
5. Working quickly, spoon the honey cornflakes into mini paper cups. Add toppings according to your preference.
6. Bake in pre-heated SENZ built-in oven at 150ºC for 10 minutes.
   Allow to cool before serving.
